A Different Approach to Selling Cars

A fierce competition between Ford and Honda. But it all goes down to our preferences.

Vs.

Now, I just wonder who's selling more cars...

Hand Shadows

I have recently watched Royal Variety Performance 2007, and one act among the few that blew me off my seat was Raymond Crowe's hand shadows. Featuring Louis Armstrong's famous What A Wonderful World, he stole the show effortlessly with his unusual yet refreshing act.

I stumbled upon the next video purely by chance. I have to say that Raymond Crowe's performance brought a new light to hand shadow act. I mean, before him, has anyone ever got close to international fame by doing this sort of stuff? Nope, I don't think so. The next video is a television commercial for Volkswagen, inspired (possibly) by Raymond Crowe.

They Made Frogs Smoke 'til They Exploded by múm

Just when I thought none can outwit Björk's unusualness and Michel Gondry's surrealism, this Icelandic group called múm ("Moom" is how the Icelandic word múm should sound like) appeared on my last.fm recommendation list. I started watching the video by múm thinking here we go again yet another boring clip. But as soon as the three boys started bleeding I held my breath long and hard. I was terrified.  The music reminds me of my childhood, not the sweet memories, but the phobia I had towards amusement parks. As weird as it may sound, I did fear of clowns. The playfulness in the melody occurs to me as a little creepy. This video is not suitable for the fainthearted. Be warned. As timid as I was when I was young, this genre of music appeals to me as I got older.

The Story of Stuff

There are seven episodes to this mini series. I highly recommend it. I think it's useful, informative, and scary. Watch the rest.
